Department of Planning

The Planning Department ensures quality development consistent with the Hastings Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Ordinances.  The Department is responsible for site plan review, subdivisions and platting, zoning, variances, and sign permits.  The Planning Department also assists the Planning Commission with review of land use activities.
