Welcome to Hastings Parks and Recreation Department!

The Hastings Park land totals approximately 400 acres of open space. The Hastings Parks and Recreation Department oversees 33 parks, which includes amenities such as baseball, football and soccer fields; softball diamonds; basketball and tennis courts; outdoor skating rinks; playground equipment; sand volleyball court; disk golf course and picnic shelters. In addition, the Hastings Parks and Recreation Department maintains over 25 miles of trails throughout Hastings . This trail system is one of the most scenic trail systems in the entire metro area!

The Parks and Recreation Department operates 2 additional facilities. They are the Hastings Family Aquatic Center and the Hastings Civic Arena.

The Parks and Recreation Department's staff also works with various youth and adult athletic associations. The Parks and Recreation Department coordinates field use and assists these local associations become as successful as possible.
