Parks and Trails

Hastings has an historic tradition of city parks. Many newer local neighborhood parks, community parks, athletic facilities and natural preservation areas now join older parks. In addition, the trail system continues to expand as a green corridor for pedestrian and wheel traffic throughout the city. All of these benefit the citizens and visitors to Hastings by providing places for leisure activities.

Hastings features 33 City Parks which include over 400 acres of park land and over 25 miles of trails to explore. The Hastings Parks system includes everything from water access at Jaycee, Lake Isabel, and Lake Rebecca Parks to frisbee golf at C.P. Adams Park. Picnics are always high on everyone's list and many parks provide excellent opportunities.

All parks are open 6 AM - 10PM.
