The Hastings Police department has a long history of community policing and proactive programs and initiatives to serve the community and get the citizens involved in working together making the community safer. These programs are coordinated by Sgt. Wayne Hicks and Officer Tim Connell who also work as School Resource Officers in the Hastings School District during the school year.
